Eric Karg has been contributing to Sleeping Horse Pills since issue #2 with "A Milwaukee Mugging"; a story about a rotten drug deal that ends in a "winter penis parade". He continues to share the results of his perpetual head-on collision with life in The Nam Diaries. That is real Lebanese Bologna adorning his chest in the photograph. This writer thinks it goes quite nicely with the French Bread wrist cuff and Pokal of Warsteiner.
The Wacissa Kid is a longtime friend of SHP and our official East Austin Correspondent. Austin continues to gentrify its East Side at an alarming rate. On the side of IH35 that struggles to hold onto its color and flavor while it drowns in a growing sea of fixed gear bikes, ironic facial hair and skinny jeans, TWK is keeping shit real.
Odessa B. Parker is a native of Austin, Texas and can still remember when the "weird" just stopped at Ben White heading South and anything North of 183 was a wasteland compared to Pflugerville. An avid fan of Sleeping Horse Pills, Odessa has decided to contribute her unique vision to this burgeoning online experiment. A proud new owner of a digital camera, she has been taking photos of whatever catches her eye. Look for future rants about her sad addiction to the trashiest of trash T.V.
The Palehorse has been with us since issue #1. We think of him as the Geraldo Rivera of SHP, but without a mustache, questionable journalistic integrity, failed t.v. specials & Puerto Rican/Spanish descent. I guess he's not really like Geraldo at all. But, from the Eastside to S. of 71/Ben White & now from Hyde Park, Palehorse always delivers.
